Ann M. Weiland's Obituary
Ann M. Weiland, 85, of Cedar Rapids, went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 22, 2016.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church by Father Christopher Podhajsky. Inurnment will be in the Czech National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.
Survivors include her son, Tom (Patty) Weiland; her daughter, Crys (Jeff) Hora; granddaughter, Katie Hemann and 5 great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Tim; grandson, Kurtis Hemann; parents, Frank and Anna Hasek; sister, Mary (Harold) Jepson and brother, Jerry (Ann) Hasek.
Ann was born May 4, 1930 in Iowa City and was a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids. She was a member of Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Ann's greatest joy in life was time spent with her family and her cats.
A special thank you to Saint Luke's Unity Point Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Ann's family or to a charity of the donor's choice.
