Blaine M. Matney, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died at his home Sunday, July 24, 2016.

A Celebration of Blaine's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, with Pastor Christopher Singer officiating.

Blaine leaves behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Kelly Lee; son, Jeff (Apryl) Matney; daughter, Tasha (Josh) Ewert; grandchildren, Kelsey Lee, Austyn Lee, Brilee Ewert, Jaydalynn Matney and Kayda Ewert; sister, Tina Matney; brothers, Dave, Mike and John Matney; special nieces, Amber, Stormie, Jamie and Ashley; special nephews, Breeze, Wyatt, Michael James and Jacob; great-niece, Nya and great-nephew, Nathanial "Lil N"; special uncle, Dale (Lonnie) Viner; best friend, Terry (Lori) Pearson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He also leaves behind his "furbabies", Ella, Echo and Precious.

Blaine loved riding his Harley, spending time with his family and stopping to BS with his friends.
