Charles "Chuck" E. Hollenhors, 78, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at his home at St. Luke's Living Center West. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is caring for Chuck. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Sisley Grove Cemetery, rural Cedar Rapids, with Chaplain Deb Black officiating.

Charles Elroy was born to Cecil and Myrtle (Call) Hollenhors in Waterloo, Iowa, on June 7, 1946. He graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids, then worked as a dishwasher at several places including Coe College. You could find him riding his bicycle all around town when he wasn't engaged in a long discussion with nearly everyone he met. Chuck was an independent soul with a great personality.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
