Christine E. (Bell) Vorba, born April 10, 1932, of Anamosa, Iowa, formally of Cedar Rapids, joined her loved ones in heaven on February 13, 2026, at the age of 93.

Papich Kuba Funeral Service, 1228 2nd Street SE Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401, will perform Chris's service. The service will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, a visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Chris will be laid to rest next to her husband Leo in the Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Vorba of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Deanna Hendrickson (Brian) of Anamosa; Sheila Vorba of Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, Craig Vorba (Rebecca) and Shawn Vorba (Tiffany), Cedar Rapids; two granddaughters, Tina Hendrickson of Anamosa and Tanya (Alex) Kreimeyer Cedar Falls, Iowa; seven great grandchildren; brother, Orval "Sonny" Bell of Shellsburg, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Julia Bell; her husband Leo; son, Steven; grandson, Denny Vorba; three sisters, Beatice Short, Fern Netolicky and Opal Jones.

Over the years Chris worked in several difference offices including Farmstead Foods, National Farmers Union Insurance and the Indian Creek Nature Center.
