Debora "Debbie" Dee, 67, of Bertram, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Graveside Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Campbell Cemetery, rural Bertram, with Father Kenneth Glaser, Saint Ludmila Catholic Church officiating.  All attending are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing at the cemetery.  Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids is serving the family.

Debbie is survived by her children, Kim (Chris) Morahan, Cedar Rapids and Don (Taylor) Dee, Urbandale, and countless other kids whom she looked upon as her own; sister, Sharon Jessen, Cedar Rapids; many grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, "Jimbo" Nichols; parents, Howard and Agnes (Yanacek) Utley and brother, Ron Utley.

Debbie was born May 25, 1953 in Cedar Rapids and was a lifelong area resident.  She married Robert C. Dee on December 30, 1978 in Cedar Rapids and he died September 16, 2014.  Debbie's door was always open to anyone in need.  She raised many neighbor kids and friends of her kids who needed someone to "care".

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
