Debra Kay Logan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away August 22, 2023.  She is survived by her mother, Lois Logan of Marion, Iowa; brother, Mark (Thea) Logan of Marion, Iowa; brother, Gary (Maria) Logan of Crystal Lake, Illinois; and six nieces and nephews along with six great nieces and nephews.

Debbie was born April 22, 1956, in Mason City, Iowa to Richard (Dick) Logan and Lois Warren Logan. She spent her early years growing up in Story City, Iowa. After moving to Cedar Rapids, she graduated from Jefferson High School in 1975, and later from Kirkwood Community College with an AA degree and CNA certification. She worked in a nursing home on the northwest side of Cedar Rapids and later at Killians Department Store in the accounts department before working at Alliant Energy. She ended her career at Goodwill Industries, retiring in 2015.

Debbie loved her family, her cats, butterflies, and childhood rooster, Timmy, who she raised from a chick. Debbie had a strong faith and was a sweet and unassuming soul. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family extends a thank you to the staff at Living Center West, who cared for Debbie the past 3½ years.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
