Dolores Rita Pisha's Obituary
Dolores Rita Pisha was born April 11, 1924 in Cedar Rapids to Charles and Lucille Pospisil. She passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015.
A lifelong Cedar Rapids resident, Dolores graduated from Wilson High School in 1941. She married Stephen Pisha on November 28, 1945 at Saint Ludmila's Catholic Church. She and Stephen lived in Cedar Rapids where they raised three children. After her beloved husband, Stephen, passed away in 1997, she lived in the family home for many years before moving to Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Dolores is survived by her son, David (Lucinda) Pisha of Vermont and their child, Nicolette; her daughter, Stephanie (Craig) Todd of Saint Louis, Missouri and their children, Nathan (Sarah) of Saint Louis, Missouri, Natalie of Chicago, Illinois and Jocelyn at the University of Utah; her son, William (Melo) of Houston, Texas and their children, Stephen of Portage, Michigan, William A. of Columbus, Ohio and Andrea of Houston, Texas; and her brother, Ted Pospisil of Marion.
Private memorial services are to be held at a later date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids is serving the family.
