Donald "Donny" Roy Bruce, 62, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2024, Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donny was born on September 10, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Donald L. and Leonore M. (Randall) Bruce. He was united in marriage to Lori Haas on May 14, 1983, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. They later divorced in 1990 and rekindled their relationship.

Donny loved to ride motorcycles, drive his lawnmower, and spend time with his grandchildren.

Donny is survived by his special ex, Lori Barnett; children, Melissa (Marshall Gifford) Bruce and Donald J. "Dude" (Rose Roepsch) Bruce; grandchildren, Emma, Stevana, Jema, Donald Jax, and Ivy; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Rose Gordon, and Cindy (Randy) Rupe; and many nieces and nephews.

Donny was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Laura Etheredge.
