Donna J. (Yilek) Heaston, 78, of Corona, California, formerly of Cedar Rapids, entered into Eternal Life January 30, 2017.

A Mass of the Resurrection was held Friday, February 10th in Saint Mel Catholic Church, Norco, California followed by interment in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside, California.

Donna is survived by her son, Martin R. Heaston (ex-wife Sheri), and grandchildren, Katherine E. Heaston and Robert L. Heaston; her son, William F. Heaston and her daughter, Angela R. Harbour (Terry) and grandchildren, Tommy (Stefanie) and Christine Harbour (Kyle Blanchard); great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jameson Harbour and Allison Blanchard; and her sister-in-law, Chris Carlson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Heaston; son, Timothy M. Heaston; parents, Milo and Agnes (Roushar) Yilek and sister, Patricia L. Yilek.

Donna was born July 9, 1938 and graduated from Mount Mercy Nursing School in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a nurse at Circle City and Corona Regional Medical Center for thirty-three years. She was active with the Czech Society and the Catholic Daughters. Donna also belonged to Saint Edward Catholic Church for fifty-four years.

Donations in Donna's memory may be given locally to Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library.
