Doreen Anderson

Doreen Anderson, 68, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 p.m., at Thomas Park, Marion. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Doreen was born on August 26, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Carlton and Dixie (Meyers) Carlson Sr.

Doreen enjoyed watching tv, being a care giver, and spending time with her family.

Doreen is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Richard) Martin; grandchildren, Raven Mifflin and Lucien Andrews; great-grandson, Max Bakoven; siblings, Royce Carlson and Ronald Gilson; and many nieces and nephews.

Doreen was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carlton Carlson Jr. and Suzanne Carlson.
