DOROTHY  MAE  GRENDLER

May 30, 1934 - May 9, 2022

Dorothy Mae Grendler, 87, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, received her wings on Monday, May 9, 2022.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Tina (Roger) Lindsey; grandchildren, Dave (Cheryl) Hanover, Brandi (Lyle) Woodward, Becky (Bryan) Coffman, Scott Sanders and Traci (James) Lewis and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grand- children.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Grendler; her mother, Winona Perry; two daughters, Brenda Mason and Linda Sanders; and a son-in-law, Brad Mason.

Dorothy enjoyed working in her garden, visiting her family and friends, cooking large meals for the holidays with her children and grandchildren "all up in her way" as she would say.  She also loved putting together puzzles and watching her beloved "westerns".

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cedar Valley Humane Society, the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Association-Cedar Rapids.
