Douglas Robert Williams, of Cedar Rapids, born May 16, 1965, passed away of a sudden illness.

A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held from 1 to 4 P.M., Saturday, June 8th, at the Knights of Columbus Council #5677 Hall, 810 Vernon Valley Drive, Cedar Rapids.

Doug loved his family and was a proud father of three wonderful sons, a beautiful and devoted wife and just recently was blessed with his first grandchild. Doug's favorite place in the world was the cottages in Rhinelander, Wisconsin where his ashes will be placed to rest at a later date.

Doug is survived by his wife Kim; his sons Eric, Nick and Jake; daughter-in-law, Laurie; granddaughter, Bethany; mother-in-law, Jean Northrup; brother-in-laws, Doug Northrup (Angela) and Denny Northrup (Junda); sisters-in-law, Pat Barnes (Bob), Kathy Hogan (Rick) and Penny Hard (Ray); sisters, Jill Graham (Steve), Jody Smith (Kelly), Jane Macdonald (Dave), Julie Williams and Jeanne Williams (Michael Pierick); stepmother, Charlotte Hogan, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Doug was predeceased by his father, Don Williams, mother, Joyce Williams and father-in-law, Dick Northrup.
