Eleanor Marie Sundberg's Obituary
Eleanor Marie Sundberg left this world Tuesday morning, September 25, 2012 to join those who passed before her into everlasting life.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E., Cedar Rapids. A private family service will follow the visitation.
She leaves behind her children, Susan Carman, Urbana, Peggy Sproston, Anamosa and Steven Sproston, Creve Coeur, Illinois and her adopted son Jamie Pratt, Urbana; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Alfred, her mother and stepfather Mildred and Edward Drahos, brother Robert, daughter Linda Waters, son-in-law Ray Carman and a granddaughter Miranda.
Eleanor Marie was born August 14, 1939 to Alfred and Mildred Sundberg in Marion, Iowa. She loved to cook and bake. She was the best ever. She also did puzzles, search a word and crocheted dish cloths. She loved her dog "Little Bit" who was her constant companion.
She will be missed but we will join her someday.
