Glen Eugene Davenport

Glen Eugene Davenport, 62, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha, Iowa. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026, Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, 1228 2nd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, 52401.

Glen was born on May 7, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lyle and Wilma (Wilson) Davenport. He was united in marriage to Carie Hartgrave on June 8, 2002, in Cedar Rapids.

Glen enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes, and listening to George Jones.

Glen is survived by his wife, Carie Davenport; children, Kale (Chris) Gates, Courney (Logan Wieneke) Davenport, and Kyle Davenport; step-children, Troy Perkins and Justin (Hayley) Hartgrave; nine grandchildren; sister, Jean (Wayne) Hard; and many nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Davenport; and uncle, Bob Davenport.
