Grace M. Judd will always be remembered as a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was 80 years old and passed away peacefully at Northbrook Manor.
Grace was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and her parents.
She is survived by her five children, Philip Leidigh, Cedar Rapids, Diana Koljenon, Minnesota, Danita Johnson, Colorado, Debbie Young-Stewart, Cedar Rapids and Terri Booth, Seattle, Washington. The rest of the family that Grace dearly loved are her 11 grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Wendy Milam, Jacob Young, Adam and Chris Leidigh, Jordan Young, Phylicia Leidigh, Natalie Booth, Kelsee Johnson and Leslie Booth and nine great-grandchildren.
Grace was born in Minnesota and grew up on a farm where she learned to work hard. After moving to Cedar Rapids, she worked at Wilson's for 28 years. Her strong work ethic has now been passed down to her children and grandchildren. She also leaves a legacy of camping trips, active vacations and her passion for sports. Babysitting her grandkids, however, was her favorite past-time. That is when she handed down her zeal for playing games.
A celebration of Grace's life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 5th, at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church.
