Helen Irene Perrin, 85, Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center.

Services: 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E., where friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday. Rev. William B. Harnish will be the officiant. Burial will be in Sisley Grove Cemetery, rural Cedar Rapids, at a later date.

Helen is survived by her five children, Mary E. Jones, David Perrin, Patricia Pierce and Deborah J. "Debi Jo" Whiting, all of Cedar Rapids and Kelly Homewood and husband Mark of Ely; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Perrin; 3 daughters, Dixie Cejka, Gerri Titus and Cheryl Perrin; granddaughter, Chantel Fields; grandsons, Kent Jones and Mike Perrin; parents, Frank and Edith (Foster) Blozvich; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Helen was born May 16, 1927 in Brazil, Iowa and had resided in Cedar Rapids since moving from Mystic, Iowa in 1943. She married Junior Lee Perrin on March 21, 1942 in Unionville, Missouri. He died on December 26, 1995. Helen was a homemaker and loved to cook and feed her family and friends. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.

A memorial fund has been established in Helen's name.
