Jamie Henderson, 36, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center.

Services: 12:00 P.M. (Noon) Wednesday at Gospel Tabernacle Church with Pastor Joe Pledge officiating. Friends may call after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Marilyn Henderson and his godmother, Ann Hayes, both of Cedar Rapids; sister, Tiffani Henderson, Cedar Rapids; brother, Toney Henderson, Herlong, California; grandfather, King Browning, Cedar Rapids; uncles, Willie Madison and Edward Burnell, both of Camden, Arkansas, Sammie (Joyce) Grant, Stephens, Arkansas, Terry Browning, Melvin Browning and Bernard Browning, all of Cedar Rapids; Mary (Ira) Sanders and Barbara Henderson, both of Camden, Arkansas and Georgia Browning, Cedar Rapids; special cousin, Larry Walter and godsister, Tequilla Walter, both of Cedar Rapids; a niece, Tyanna Henderson and nephew, Dionte Timmons. He is also survived by many cousins, relatives and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Lee Burnell.

Jamie was born November 5, 1977 in Camden, Arkansas and came to Cedar Rapids with his family in 1989. He had been employed at APAC and Infinity as a telemarketer. Jamie was an active member of New Life Outreach Ministry and loved to sing gospel hymns.
