Janet Riley

Janet Louise Riley, 81, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at The Views of Marion. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2026, Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial: Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Janet was born on May 15, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Clyde and Lois (Smith) Williams. She was united in marriage to James Riley on October 22, 1966, in Shellsburg, Iowa.

Janet graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1965. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by her husband, James Riley; children, Mike (Kristi) Riley, Kathleen (Phil) Price, and Tim (Joanna) Riley; Nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Nevin (Sherri) Williams.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
