Jonathan D. Seeley's Obituary
Jonathan D. Seeley, 67, of Geneva Towers, died early Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha.
Jonathan's wishes were to be cremated and have his urn placed in the columbarium at Czech National Cemetery. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Coleen, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Jonathan was born April 23, 1946 in Iowa City to Harlan and Dorothy (Clark) Seeley and had lived in Cedar Rapids for many years. He married Coleen K. Wallace on November 28, 1975 in Cedar Rapids. He was employed at Czech National Cemetery until his retirement.
Jonathan enjoyed fishing and never had an unkind word to say about anybody.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy for the wonderful care they gave to him these past few days. All of you went above and beyond what was expected.
