Kurtis Hemann, 39, of Marion, passed away at his home in Marion, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 12th, at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E. Kurtis will be buried at Czech National Cemetery.

Kurtis enjoyed going fishing with his Dad.

Kurtis is survived by his grandmother, Ann Weiland; father, James Hemann and wife Roxanne Hemann; mother, Crys Hora and husband Jeff Hora; uncle, Tom Weiland and wife Pat Weiland; sisters, Katie Hemann, Amanda Hemann, Alicia Southwick and husband Ray Southwick.

Kurtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Donna Hemann and John Weiland; and uncle Tim Weiland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with the cost of the funeral expenses.
