Leonard F. Dolezal, 95, of Cedar Rapids, died at his home late Saturday, March 31, 2018. No funeral services are planned at this time. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family.

Leonard is survived by his son, Ken (Martha) Dolezal of Montrose, Colorado and three grandchildren, Damon, Anna and Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; infant daughter, Karen Kay; and his parents.

Leonard was born on April 26, 1922 in Solon, Iowa, the son of Frank and Anna (Vorel) Dolezal. He married Evelyn D. Staskal on June 6, 1944 in Fairfax, Iowa and she died on June 28, 1999.

Leonard was a lifelong farm owner and operator in Linn and Johnson counties. He was a longtime member of Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
