Louise C. Niedermayer, 93, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday evening, February 23, 2016 at Living Center East.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday at Mount Calvary Cemetery by Deacon Robert Hurych. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Monday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E., Cedar Rapids.
Louise is survived by special friends, Ron and Shirley Aschbrenner, Cedar Rapids; dear friend, Betty Price, Brooklyn; nieces and a nephew and her special feline companion, Snoopy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris; her parents, Albert and Frances (Hala) Posusta; sister, Mary Jacobi and brothers, Albein and Milo Posusta.
Louise was born on February 20, 1923 in Benton County, Iowa and had lived in Cedar Rapids for many years. She married Christy "Chris" J. Niedermayer on April 8, 1967 in Illinois. Chris died September 2, 2003.
Louise had worked at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2772. She enjoyed playing bingo at Hawkeye Downs.
