Marilyn Elaine Rugg, 86, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home Wednesday, June 6, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Mike Rugg and wife Jamie; granddaughter, Jeni Crawford and husband Cody and family; grandson, Blake Anderson and family; granddaughter, Jessica Armstrong and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, parents, Joe and Sara Steege, and her sisters, Nancy and Linda.

Marilyn was born March 15, 1932 in Waterloo. She married Bill Rugg on June 22, 1950 in Cedar Falls. Marilyn worked at Rockwell-Collins until her retirement.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in Marilyn's name.
