Mary Kay (Smith) Bilsland, 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, October 1 ^st at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2 ^nd Street S.E., with Deacon Mark Sandersfeld officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Shawn (Cindy) Mahan, Bellevue, Iowa and Jason (Cathy) Mahan, Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Nichole, Hayley, Brianna and Jaise; and siblings, Keith Smith, Connie Keller and Tracey (Kevin) Kirk, all of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Yvonne (Kness) Smith, her brother, Dennis Smith and her husband, Clancy Bilsland.

Mary was born April 6, 1953 in Cedar Rapids.  She had been employed at Midland Forge and later enjoyed working at Walmart.  Mary was passionate about horses and gardening.  She enjoyed volunteering at Miracles in Motion, creating opportunities for people with disabilities to connect with the energy and spirit of the horse.  Mary will now ride off into the sunset whenever she feels like it!

She always looked forward to her visits with family, her amazing grandchildren and friends.
