Michael Trent Bell, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his home. Per Michael's wishes, there will be no services at this time. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is serving the family.

Born October 16, 1957, to Sonny and Carel (Neal) Bell, in Cedar Rapids, Michael loved to make people smile. He taught many people to fish and hunt mushrooms. Michael loved the outdoors and sharing time with his daughter, Michele.

He retired from Wilson Company when they shut down. Michael made his way through life as a handyman, and a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed getting into adventures. Michael's daily goal in life was to make someone he didn't know smile.

Michael is survived by his father, Orval "Sonny" Bell; daughter, Michele Bell; grandchildren, Juliet, Wyatt, Conner, Liam, and Garrett; great-grandchildren, Arya, Leora, and Joshua; sister, Cheryl (Bob) Witte; nieces and nephews, Nick (Andrea) O'Brien, and Kristen O'Brien; great-nephew, Devin; and dog, Bandit. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carel Bell; and grandparents, Helen James, Hop Neal, Oliver Bell, and Julia Bell.
