Michael Terry Ferguson, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held from 1 to 4 P.M. Sunday, August 8 ^th at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2 ^nd Street S.E.

Mike is survived by his children, Summer Ferguson of Cedar Rapids, Justice Ferguson of Adair and Brandon Smith of Camanche; his mother, Shirley Ferguson of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Cheryl Dietz (Rex) of Central City, Sherry Schwabe (Bill) of Waldo, Florida and Deborah Ferguson (Jeff) of Coggon; and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was born October 1, 1965 in Cedar Rapids.  He was with Kathleen McLellan for over seven years and a daughter, Summer was born in 1996 and a son, Justice in 1997.

Mike was employed as a concrete finisher for many years.  He loved his dog, Dallie and riding his motorcycle.

He enjoyed traveling the West coast and had lived in Wyoming for a short time and in California when he was in his 40s.  Mike had horses for many years and loved riding and caring for them.
