Michael McCormick

Michael Francis McCormick, 51, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2026, Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, 1228 2nd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401. Burial: 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2026, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael was born on January 7, 1975, in Cedar Rapids, the son of James E. and Rosa L. (Coppess) McCormick.

Michael served honorably in the United States Coast Guard from 1993-1997.

Michael is survived by his mother, Rosa (Harlin) Andresen; niece, Cassey Thernka; and many aunts and uncles.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, James E. McCormick; brother, James T. McCormick; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
