Mildred "Millie" L. Robinson, 82, of Wapello, Iowa passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 8 ^th at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, located at 1228 2 ^nd Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A luncheon will follow at the Bertram Township Hall, 211 Angle Street, Bertram, Iowa.

Her family includes her husband of 59 years, Vernon; three children, daughter, Genevieve (Charles) Wagg of Wapello, Robbie Harover of Wapello, and daughter, Mary (Bruce) Bunten of Garrison; seven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Sundberg and Mildred and Edward Drahos; son, Vernon Robinson Jr., and daughter, Cheri Robinson.

Mildred was born April 9, 1936 in Centerville, Iowa and her family moved to Bertram, Iowa when she was young. She graduated from McKinley High School in Cedar Rapids. Mildred married Vernon Robinson on January 16, 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mildred enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing cards, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
