Nicole Marie "Nikki" (Fadroski) Leitch of Cedar Rapids died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 18, 2019. She was born August 19, 1974 to the late Anthony Fadroski, Jr. and Monica (Kolaszewski) Fadroski in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Nikki will be fondly remembered as a loving, outgoing, compassionate person who could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She had that special sort of charismatic personality that drew others to her. She was always ready and willing to help out a friend in need, and family meant everything to her. She took great pride in growing her bountiful garden and loved to cook, especially for a crowd.

Nikki will be sadly missed by her mother, Monica; children, Lucas Leitch, Hunter Leitch, and Jabari Friend; sisters, Lori (Andy) LaBarge, Kathy (Dave) MacKay, and Michele Schabow; brothers, Mike (Debbie) Lahay, Mark (Amy) Lahay, Tony (special friend, Nikki) Fadroski, Keith, Kevin, and Michael Fadroski; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ben and Dorothy Kolaszewski, and her paternal grandparents, Jeannette and Anthony Fadroski, Sr.

Nikki's family and friends are heartbroken over her loss, but we can take some comfort in knowing that out of this awful tragedy came something exceptionally beautiful. Nikki donated some of her bodily organs so that others may live – people who she had likely never met are the recipients of some of the most precious gifts that one person could give to another. It is a fitting legacy and tribute to the life of one of God's most precious gifts to the world: our sweet, beautiful Nikki.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 23, 2019, at Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 1224 5 ^th Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass.
