Patrick Kane, 59, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita due to severe sepsis and complications of COVID-19.

Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 2 ^nd at Saint John's Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, followed by a luncheon at Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church.  Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Kane; his paternal grandparents, George and Julia Ellen Hanson, and maternal grandparents, Michael and Katrina Schaefer.

Patrick leaves behind his wife, Sherill; sons, Michael, Kevin and Christian, and daughters, Sarah, Summer, Lexie and Madison; grandchildren, Ophelia, Hope, Ariella, Mia, Zander and Azrael.  He is also survived by his mother, Anna Marie Kane; sister, Jacquie (David) Miller and many other relatives and friends.
