Peggy Brummer, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on March 22, 2026, at Mercy Medical Center. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family is being cared for by Papich-Kuba Funeral Service.

Peggy was born on December 16, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter to Larry and Peggy (Siemer) Brummer. Peggy enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and cards, and had a special love for cats. She liked watching movies and TV shows, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and the San Francisco 49ers, and staying engaged in the things she loved. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren and was deeply involved in their activities.

Peggy is survived by her sons, James Brummer, Josh Brummer, and Jake Brummer; grandchildren, Jackie and Brayden; uncle, Herb Kirby; special friend, Don Ballard; and her beloved cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Siemer; and aunt, Eileen Siemer.
