Ricky Klein, 63, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 24, 2026, surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, 1228 2nd Street SE Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401. A Time of Sharing Memories and Stories will be at 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Rick was born August 26, 1962, son to Kenneth and Betty (Orr) Klein. He graduated from Metro High School and worked as a machine operator for many years.

Rick loved bowling and achieved the impressive feat of multiple 300 games—using both hands. Rick also enjoyed watching races and even took part in racing himself. Rick was a skilled handyman who could fix just about anything. Above all, Rick truly cherished the time he spent with his family.

Rick is survived by his mother, Betty Klein; siblings, Dennis (Janet) Klein and Terri Klein; and many loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth "Kenny" Klein; sister, Debbie Sue Klein; grandparents, Harold Sr. and Betty Orr; uncles, James "Jim" Hill and Harold Orr Jr.; special great aunt, Mary Porter; and many other family members.
