Robert James Clinton Sr., 73, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Harmony Care Center, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Robert was born on December 10, 1951, in Center Point, Iowa, the son of Erwin and Ruth (Sadler) Clinton Sr.

Robert served honorably in the United States Navy. He worked as a self employed carpenter for many years. Robert enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his wife.

Robert is survived by his children, Christina Clinton, Wendy Clinton, and Joshua Clinton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Clinton.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, second wife, Kay Clinton, son, Robert James Clinton Jr., six sisters, and three brothers.
