Ronald "Ron" J. Thibodeaux, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.

Ron is survived by his children, Jesse Thibodeaux, Sam Thibodeaux and Mike Thibodeaux; and his sisters, Debra Greeson and Francis Ann Daniels.

Ron was born October 23, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas and spent his childhood in San Antonio, Texas.  He served a short time in the Navy and Merchant Marines and then moved to Boulder, Colorado where he met his late wife, Beth.  Ron and Beth moved to Cedar Rapids in 1972 to start their family.

Ron worked most of his life doing home repairs and construction projects.  He enjoyed art, jewelry making, woodworking and carving projects in his spare time.  Ron also had an amazing ability to become friends with anyone.  He was a very social person and enjoyed chatting on the phone for hours at a time.

Ron will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of having known him.  His life will be celebrated by his immediate family.
