Sandra "Darlene" Ruiz, 60, of Bertram, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Monday, December 26, 2022.  Per Darlene's wishes, there will be no funeral service.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.

Darlene was the wife of Rosalio Ruiz with whom she shared a wonderful 32 years of marriage; she is also survived by her children, Keeli Trout (Matt Trout), Mario Ruiz (Jessica Wallis) and Tibursia Ruiz; her step-children, Marcelina Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Maria Wayson (Jason Hangartner), Ramon Ruiz and Tabitha Knox; her mother, Beatrice Davis; step-mother, Debbie Bagley; and her siblings, Kathy, Lisa and David.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry; brother, Greg; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Darlene was born August 20, 1962 in Waycross, Georgia to Larry and Beatrice (Guy) Bagley.  She worked several years at Quaker Oats Co. in the general labor and quality assurance departments.  Her favorite job, however, was being "Nana" to her 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Darlene also enjoyed crafting, cooking, fishing, camping, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.  She will always be remembered for her fiery silliness, love, compassion and kindness.
