Sharon R. Knoke, 68, of Cedar Rapids died at her home Tuesday afternoon, November 24, 2015.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E. Sharon will be buried at Czech National Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gary; her daughter, Theresa Fifield, Gulfport, Florida; her son, Timothy J. (Alison) Wombacher, Marion; seven grandchildren, Josh Rogan, Nathanial Wombacher, Elias Hobel, Amber Clifton, Jacob Bonesteel, Zachary Fifield and Jeff Gunzenhauser; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Fifield, her parents, John and Lillian (Shultz) Minar and sister, Judith Werner.
Sharon was born December 27, 1946 in Cedar Rapids and was a lifelong resident. She was employed at Rockwell-Collins Co. for 36 years and then worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District for several years until her retirement.
Sharon loved her trips to Las Vegas, gambling, playing bingo and making crafts.
Memorial contributions may be given to Unity Point Hospice.
