Shirley V. Rundall Lauterbach, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, August 14, 2017, at UnityPoint Health-Saint Luke's Hospital.
Memorial Services: 1:30 P.M. Saturday, September 9th, at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2nd Street S.E., with Rev. Lecil Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her son, Mark Rundall of Mechanicsville; sisters, Lois (Jack) Frisk, Evelyn Weaver, Carol (Bill) Rawson and Pauline Hanson, all of Cedar Rapids, Louise (Lecil) Pierce of Tupelo, Mississippi and Penny (Donald) Zeller of Atkins; brothers, George Fields Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Michael Fields of Hiawatha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Ruth (Kimbrough) Fields; sisters, Bonnie Miller and Cheryle Hootman and a brother, Douglas Fields.
Shirley was born November 22, 1936 in Cedar Rapids and lived there most of her life. She was married to Donald Rundall for over 40 years. She later married Richard Lauterbach. Shirley had worked at several businesses in Cedar Rapids, before moving to Laurie, Missouri where she lived from 2002 until returning to Cedar Rapids in 2015.
Shirley loved to dance and sing, play the guitar and sing karaoke. She made friends easily, loved camping and spending time with her large family. While living in Missouri, Shirley was an avid member of the Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705.
A memorial fund has been established in Shirley's name.
