Thomas R. Franks, 64, of Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday evening, November 26, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness.

A celebration of Tom's life and luncheon will be held at noon, Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Bertram Township Hall, 211 Angel Street, Bertram.

Tom is survived by his wife, Gloria; brothers, Bobby Franks, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Raymond Franks, Cedar Rapids; sister, Mable Franks, Cedar Rapids; son, Raymond (Felicia) Hopper, Marion; daughter, Ruby (Mike) Koshatka, Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Andrew (Elizabeth) Koshatka, Ames, Casey Koshatka, Marion and Alicia Koshatka, Cedar Rapids; and a great-granddaughter, Madelyn Koshatka, Ames.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jessie (Webster) Franks.
