Vitaly Petrovich Likanchuk

April 8, 1972 – June 20, 2022

Vitaly was born on April 8, 1972 in Kobrin, Belarus and moved to the U.S.A. with his family in 1989.  He was currently employed at Five Seasons Tire in Cedar Rapids where he began working in 1990.

Vitaly is survived by his mother, Anna Likanchuk of Cedar Rapids; his children, Andrew (Sophie) , Arek (Samantha) and Natalie (Casey) Likanchuk-Heil, all of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; sisters, Nadia (Vasily) Parfenyuk of Cedar Rapids, Sofia (Stepan) Novik of Belarus and Irina (Adam) Schminkey of Cedar Rapids.  He is also survived by two nieces, Yelena and MayLee, both of Cedar Rapids, a nephew, Val Novik of Belarus and many cousins in the U.S.A. and Belarus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Likanchuk.

He liked hunting, fishing and enjoying time with his family.  Vitaly also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR racing on television.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 2 ^nd Street S.E., Cedar Rapids, followed by burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
